Chelsea & Mike's Wedding at The Mansion at West Sayville, Long Island, NY

This past November, I drove down to Long Island with Tyler to celebrate and document Mike & Chelsea's wedding. I was particularly excited to capture these images.

Over the past few years I have captured life events for highschool classmates and college pals alike, old friends, new friends, and a bunch of personal contacts. Each time I am trusted with the important role of documenting these life events, I feel so honored to be able to make a friend's photo dreams come true.

Enter: Mike + Chelsea.

Mike is a fellow SUNY Oneonta alum who met his soulmate Chelsea in elementary school. They decided to celebrate at the Mansion at West Sayville - a really beautiful property right on the water, with an absolutely breathtaking ceremony space and really great food (the sure sign of a perfect location). They were blessed with great weather and had chosen an excellent venue, and I was able to capture every perfect moment of their sunset ceremony, night portraits, and family formals.

An intimate event with an old Hollywood vibe, this was easily one of my favorite events of the year. Their wedding had all the trappings of a great gallery: a stunning couple who are clearly meant for each other, supportive friends and family, beautiful wedding venue and scenery, and an opportunity for really unique night shots in front of a rare red-blue sunset.

Chelsea & Mike - cheers to you! Tyler and I were so thankful to be able to celebrate your wedding with you, and to play a small part in this big day on the vendor side as well! Your cake cutting, which I have learned from your IG stories was not initially planned to be a formal cake cutting, will live forever in my memory as the cutest thing ever.

Enjoy newlywed life!

PS - Tyler, thank you for being my light guy!
