Hello, and welcome to my one of my favorite engagement shoots EVER.
Sarah & Connor and I drove up to to The Sagamore Resort with mild anxiety about the rain stopping. We wanted to capture all of the amazing lake views and foliage that a mid-October sunset on Lake George offers, but the forecast was a little wrong and it was still drizzling when we arrived.
By some miracle, after a few shots in this historic hotel's beautiful lobby, the rain fully stopped and we were treated to one of the most breathtaking sunsets I've seen on the lake in all my years photographing. Vibrant foliage, mist on the mountains, a pink and yellow cast between wispy clouds, and glassy waters had all of us totally psyched.
Weather aside, this COUPLE was absolutely stunning as well: Sarah + Connor are so fun to chat with, such naturals behind the camera, and so FUNNY. Mix in some great neutral outfit choices (featuring the Abercrombie dress of my dreams), and we've got the perfect shoot!
I'll let these pictures speak for themselves, but Sarah + Connor - I can't wait to do this all again this year, in Troy, and in wedding attire! All the love,
